House Needs Poirier -130 for UFC 64 But Won't Be a Massive Decision: Conor Calls Dustin "Buster Douglas"

For all his braggadocious behaviour, Conor McGregor is hardly a dominant force in the sports betting community at the moment as his UFC 264 opponent, Dustin Poirier, continues to make this a tight bout.  Poirier remains the -130 favorite.

"Still just 53% of the cash on McGregor (+110)," Dave Mason of BetOnline noted via Twitter early Saturday afternoon. "Thought that would be higher by now. 61% of bettors on Conor. House will definitely need Poirier (-130) but doesn't look like it will be a massive decision as of now."

This could all change with a flurry of bets anticipated the final four hours leading up to Saturday night's blockbuster card.

McGregor pays EVEN odds and insists this series between the 32-year-olds will end with the trilogy (UFC 264)....and be "the end of the road for Dustin Poirier".

"He's done here, this is it for him," said McGregor, who was beaten by Poirier the last time these two met.

He also referred to Poirier as James 'Buster' Douglas, the 42-1 underdog who pulled off one of sport's greatest upsets by beating Mike Tyson in 1990.  Douglas did not have much of a career beyond that moment.

"He's going to be known for that," said McGregor. "It was a fluke win and I'm going to correct it on Saturday night."
