2021 Home Run Derby Betting Odds

Our friends at SportsBetting.ag were quick to release 2021 Home Run Derby betting odds after finalization was announced on Wednesday.

The MVP frontrunner, Shohei Ohtani, comes in as the favorite to be crowned the home run king at next week’s All-Star Game event. Ohtani’s odds are half of the next-closest competitors.  He has 32 home runs on the year so far.

Ohtani will take on Soto in the first round of the eight-player bracket. Kansas City Royals catcher Salvador Perez battles Alonso in the first round.

What makes Ohtani especially unique is that he becomes the first player ever to be selected to the All-Star game as both a position player and a pitcher.

The Home Run Derby will be held on July 12 at Coors Field at 8 p.m. ET.  Betting is available until that time but odds are subject to change based on action coming in and other variables so it is important to lock in the current price here.

Shohei Ohtani             +250    (5/2)
