King Fury Profile

Age: 3 year old Colt

Owner(s): Fern Circle Stables

Trainer: Kenneth G. McPeek

Bred: Kentucky (USA) by Heider Family Stables LLC

Pedigree: Curlin  -  Taris  by  Flatter

King Fury got into the Kentucky Derby by way of two horses dropping out.

“He’s probably the healthiest, best-bred horse I’ve ever brought into the race,” trainer Kenny McPeek said. “With Tejano Run in 1995, there were a lot of things that went wrong in the winter. But this colt is hitting on all cylinders and really doing super.”
