UMass (19-5-4) beat the reigning champions Duluth and advance to Saturday’s national championship game against St. Cloud State.  Neither team has ever won a Championship.

UMass won despite having their leading goal scorer Carson Gicewicz and starting goaltender Filip Lindberg out due to Covid-19 tracing protocol.

UMass would pay out $1000 for every $100 bet with a win for those who get in on the early futures while St. Cloud would pay out $1200.

Of note, ten of St. Cloud State's 20 wins have been by one goal.

St. Cloud State F Nolan Walker is tied for the team lead in points on the season.  He also has four assists and two goals in three NCAA tournament games, including the semifinal.

The Championship game will be broadcast live on ESPN Saturday (April 10) at 9 pm ET.  Betting at BetOnline on the 2021 NCAA Hockey Championship game will be available up until just before this time.  They were not offering prop bets at this time.
