Canadian poker pro Vanessa Kade has just won the PokerStars Sunday Million 15th Anniversary tournament, beating out a field of 69,876 to win $1.5 million.

Kade is a brand ambassador for Americas Cardroom. She defeated Pawel "Talibenes" Ladniak in heads-up play to win the massive tournament. Both Ladniak cashed out $1,035,358.
Kade continues to make a name for herself in the world of poker, most recently calling out GG Poker for its hiring of Instagram Playboy Dan Bilzerian. A woman's right advocate, she questioned the online poker room aligning itself with an individual she referred to as "sexist". Bilzerian fired back by calling Kade "a hoe".
While the tournament turns 15 years old, PokerStars is about to celebrate its 20th year. The world's largest real money poker room came into existence on America's darkest day, September 11, 2001 (9/11). That is when two planes crashed into and toppled the World Trade Center in New York City while another slammed into the Pentagon.
