Who are the most hated personalities in the world of poker? PokerTube.com has compiled a list of the top 5 most hated in poker.
Top 5 Most Hated
- William Kassouf comes in at number 5.
- "The English ‘motormouth’ is about as jarring a player as you could hope to meet at the tables… Kassouf aiming a never-ending stream of ‘verbals’ at everyone and no-one."
- Daniel Negreanu is listed in the number 4 spot.
- For a number of poker players, it was DNegs’ PokerStars ambassadorship role that riled them, the infamous ‘more rake is better’ row with Doug Polk, and before that his wavering stance on the SuperNova Elite issue.
- Phil Hellmuth shows up in the number 3 spot.
- The self-proclaimed "Poker Brat" brings his own special brand to the table – one that is equal parts ego, self-belief, annoyance, and skill.
- Annie Duke is still up there and sits in the number 2 position.
- The sister of Howard 'The Professor' Lederer, she was among the main players (co-founder and Commissioner) behind the failed Epic Poker League. "Duke got paid while the players got short-changed on a $1million freeroll."
- Duke is so hated, according to PokerTube, Vegas dealers have given her the nickname "Annie Puke" and Negreanu once referred to her as a "fucking cunt".

- Taking top spot has to be the trio of worthies behind the Full Tilt Poker scandal that left players owed money for well over a year and scarred the online poker sector for many years thereafter.
- Chris ‘Jesus’ Ferguson, Howard 'The Professor’ Lederer and CEO of the online poker, Ray Bitar, top the PokerTube list.
- Their individual roles in the scandal has never been quite clear but their involvement has never been in doubt.
- The failure to reveal what really happened, and apologise for their parts in it, have seen Ferguson and Lederer held as pariahs by the community.
