Hot Betting Trends NBA - December 28 (2020)

Gambling911.com has your NBA Basketball Betting Trends (in order from best on top) for Monday, December 28, 2020.  Green Teams are those with the edge.  Red teams are those with a notable disadvantage.

  1. The Pistons have won seven of the last ten versus the Hawks and they have covered the three losses using the current spread of +10 W
  2. The Thunder have covered using the current spread in their last nine games versus the Jazz.  They have won 7 of the last 9 outright W
  3. Jazz are 6-13-2 ATS in their last 21 games following a ATS loss and are 3-12-2 ATS in their last 17 games following a straight up loss. W
  4. Jazz are 5-14-1 ATS in the last 20 meetings in Oklahoma City W
  5. Nets are 6-1 ATS in their last 7 games following a ATS loss L
  6. The home team has won the last seven games in the Rockets-Nuggets series W

Results

The Pistons, while losing and at one point flirting with the 20-point down mark heading into the 4th quarter, did manage to keep this game within 10 points and within the spread.  This one was a nail-biter.  Detroit lost 128-120 to Atlanta.  The Pistons were our big pick of the night.

Donovan Mitchell's layup with 7 seconds left allowed the Utah Jazz to overcome OKC with a one-point win but the Thunder had plenty of room to work with for those betting them on the spread. The Thunder looked like a great pick on paper coming into this game but there were some question marks as to their strength.

The Nuggets had little trouble taking care of Houston as this hot home win trend moves to 8 straight in the series.  A moneyline bet could have worked at -260 but Denver had little problem covering.

The Nets proved to be the only real let down in the Trends department as they had been able to rebound nicely following ATS losses.
