The oddsmakers at BetOnline believe Cleveland's Major League Baseball team will be renamed the Spiders.  Should this come to fruition the payout would be $250 for every $100 bet.  The next likely name, paying $500 for every $100 bet, the Guardians.

Reports surfaced Sunday that the team would be changing its name of 105 years.   The Indians name has been considered racist for a number of decades.

The Times said the team could make a formal announcement later this week. It’s not known when the name change will take effect or if the team has settled on a new moniker.

Ahead of this year's NFL season, the Washington DC NFL franchise got rid of its Redskins name and is currently referred to as the Washington Football team.

Trevor Williams Player Prop Bets

Bibee was promoted to the major leagues at the start of last season and made a lot of noise in doing so.  In his debut versus the Colorado Rockies, Bibee became the first Cleveland pitcher ever to record at least five consecutive strikeouts in a Major League debut.
