Gaming Laboratories International (GLI®) will host a roundtable at next month’s Betting on Sports America - Digital that will focus on the industry’s evolving product and service offerings.

The session, titled ‘New Technology for a Changed World’, is scheduled for 3:15pm ET / 12:15pm PT on December 1st, the opening day of the virtual conference and expo.

This year has seen the betting and gaming industry face extraordinary challenges and an unprecedented pace of change, meaning companies have had to accelerate the development and deployment of new concepts.

As part of its commitment to helping customers to navigate the future of gaming, GLI has spent much of 2020 assisting operators, suppliers, and regulators to rethink their approaches to gaming as they adapt to the new increasingly digital-led environment.

The new products and services encountered during that work form the basis of the roundtable discussion at Betting on Sports America - Digital, when host Salim L. Adatia (Vice President of Client Services - North America, GLI) will be joined by a select group of subject matter experts ready to share their insights on topics such as cashless wagering, iGaming and sports betting, responsible gaming, and cybersecurity.

They include fintech and gaming veteran Victor Newsom (SVP Product Management - Payments Solutions, Everi), compliance specialist Anna Sainsbury (Founder & Chairman, GeoComply and Board Member, American Gaming Association), and Canadian gaming, lottery, and cybersecurity expert Laurie Fisher (Account Executive, Bulletproof).

The format of the roundtable will allow for both panel discussion and audience participation - with time for attendees to ask questions and contribute their experiences of the subjects being discussed.

Rasmus Sojmark, CEO of event organizer SBC, said: “The scale of the changes the industry has seen this year has been remarkable, which has made it difficult for people to stay up to date with all the innovations crucial to the future success of their businesses.

“GLI’s roundtable at Betting on Sports America - Digital will help to change that by providing our delegates with some valuable insights on a number of the products and services that are reshaping the industry. As well as benefiting from GLI’s world-renowned expertise, the audience can also look forward to hearing the perspectives of some of the leading specialists in these areas.”

In addition to hosting the roundtable, GLI will have a booth in the interactive expo with experts on hand to discuss its services with delegates. GLI is also pleased to be sponsoring the opening morning’s Regulatory Roundup conference track, which will examine the likely next steps in the legalization of sports betting across the U.S.

Betting on Sports America - Digital, on December 1 & 2, 2020, will feature an eight-track conference with a line-up of 130 expert speakers, comprising operators’ senior executives, regulators, affiliates, suppliers, teams, leagues, and advisors.

The event will also host an interactive product display area featuring major international suppliers, as well as provide opportunities for delegates to connect and build their network in the burgeoning North American betting industry via the virtual networking lounge and at the program of themed networking roundtables.
