$5 Million Bet Placed on Trump, Biggest Political Bet Ever

$5 million was bet on sitting President Donald Trump by a mystery gambler.

The New York Post reports that the former banker used private bookmakers registered on the Caribbean island of Curacao for the bet at odds of 37/20 (ahem, Pinnacle Sports).

The payout is even greater: Around $15 million.

In the last four hours, 71% of money wagered on the 2020 US election was on Trump, according to Oddschecker.com.   Democratic candidate and former Vice President Joe Biden was the -210 favorite to with the Electoral College as of 1:30 pm ET.
