There is a possibility that Saturday August 15 Brewers-Cubs game could be delayed or postponed due to weather.  Our friends at BetOnline offer clear rules for game postponements and are also known to pay out bets/make refunds in some instances regardless.   They are one of the few books that offer a dime line in Major League Baseball up to -199.

While the return of the Cardinals in Chicago against the White Sox will likely see that first game finish out, the Brewers-Cubs might not be so lucky.  Beginning at 2:30 pm local time, scattered storms are anticipated around the 4 pm hour.  Whether they hit the ball park and how long they last remain to be seen.  Continue monitoring this situation.   We should note that there is another Cards-White Sox game to be played later this afternoon as well.

BetOnline Rules for Postponed Games Can Be Found Here

This game is scheduled to start at 3:30 pm ET.

As Gambling911.com readers know, BetOnline reinstituted the 4.5/5 inning rule.  Moneyline bets will once again have action after the gm goes 5 innings; 4.5 innings if the home team is up.  This follows a brief period at the start of the season where games were required to go 8.5/9 innings in order for there to be action due to Covid-19 uncertainties.  If you're unhappy with your current book's rules, we suggest playing at BetOnline.

Baseball News

Chris Paddack Player Prop Bets

Paddack recorded 10 strikeouts over seven shutout innings on Monday in a win over the White Sox. Prior to that start, Paddack was obliterated by the Orioles, allowing nine runs on 12 hits in 5 1/3 innings.

Zach Eflin Player Prop Bets

Zach Eflin has great value in fantasy leagues for the April 26 game against the lowly Chicago White Sox.  Betting on Eflin and the Tampa Bay Rays might make sense if not for the -210 price tag.

Trevor Williams Player Prop Bets

The Nats Trevor Williams held the Astros to one run with four strikeouts across six innings in a no-decision on Saturday.  And the betting public was eating him up at a near 80% clip.
