The Phillies won their second in a row Saturday thanks to an impressive 5-0 victory on Saturday as Jake Arrieta and three relievers combined for a four-hit shutout.

These clubs have mostly split wins and losses over their last ten meetings.

Right-hander Vince Velasquez (0-0, 12.00 ERA) was expected to start as pitcher for the Phillies in the first game with Spencer Howard, one of the most highly touted Braves prospects, set to make his major league debut in the second game.

The first game is expected to be a bullpen start with right-hander Huascar Ynoa and the second game to have left-hander Max Fried likely to go to the mound first.  Most odds aggregators have Fried listed to start versus Howard in game two although this was not made official as of early Sunday morning.

Baseball News

Chris Paddack Player Prop Bets

Paddack recorded 10 strikeouts over seven shutout innings on Monday in a win over the White Sox. Prior to that start, Paddack was obliterated by the Orioles, allowing nine runs on 12 hits in 5 1/3 innings.

Zach Eflin Player Prop Bets

Zach Eflin has great value in fantasy leagues for the April 26 game against the lowly Chicago White Sox.  Betting on Eflin and the Tampa Bay Rays might make sense if not for the -210 price tag.

Trevor Williams Player Prop Bets

The Nats Trevor Williams held the Astros to one run with four strikeouts across six innings in a no-decision on Saturday.  And the betting public was eating him up at a near 80% clip.
