Folks certainly want sports, and the Major League Baseball season opener between the New York Yankees and Washington Nationals proved this point.  ESPN reported Friday this was the highest rated MLB opener with 4 million plus viewers.

We know there are health risks when it comes to the coronavirus and sports will need to adapt accordingly.  All players across the board are being tested either daily or every few days depending on the league.

When asked if he would play, Reynolds said he probably would.

But with fears that Covid-19 can easily be transmitted from the field or court to one's own family members, Reynolds noted he was single throughout most of his career.

"I can understand the guys who have the challenges though.  You look at Mike Trout.  His wife is expecting their first child in August. And I remember being in spring training before the shutdown talking to Mike and he was so ecstatic being home and asking me 'what was it like being in the delivery room when your kids were born?'

"The challenge for these players is, not taking care of yourself, it's all your teammates."
