The best line on the Yankees-Nationals opening day game Thursday July 23 was -129 New York at BetOnline.

Compare this number to Bovada, which has the Yankees at -140.  Ouch!

The line is trending downward, though we wouldn't wait for it to hit below -129 as most books were not coming under the -130 mark.

G. Cole (R) will take on M. Scherzer (R) for Game One.

With the global pandemic, it is important to note that for the 2020 MLB season:

1. Listed Pitchers will not be an option. Action only

2. Game must go 8.5/9 innings for action.

Washington was coming in at +119.

You can find plenty of betting props for this game.

Baseball News

Chris Paddack Player Prop Bets

Paddack recorded 10 strikeouts over seven shutout innings on Monday in a win over the White Sox. Prior to that start, Paddack was obliterated by the Orioles, allowing nine runs on 12 hits in 5 1/3 innings.

Zach Eflin Player Prop Bets

Zach Eflin has great value in fantasy leagues for the April 26 game against the lowly Chicago White Sox.  Betting on Eflin and the Tampa Bay Rays might make sense if not for the -210 price tag.

Trevor Williams Player Prop Bets

The Nats Trevor Williams held the Astros to one run with four strikeouts across six innings in a no-decision on Saturday.  And the betting public was eating him up at a near 80% clip.
