Can I Bet on FanDuel Sports Betting App From My State?

As big as FanDuel may be they are only available for betting in New Jersey, Pennsylvania, West Virginia and Indiana.  They've been blocked from entering the Illinois market for the next two years.  By comparison, offshore licensed sportsbooks like mega sports betting operation BetOnline can be accessed in nearly every state with the exception of New Jersey.

Ideally, FanDuel would love to collect data in all states, even those they know they can't access due to exclusivity arrangements like those in Oregon and Montana (overseen by the state lottery in both).

Despite the restrictions forced upon FanDuel by the regulated market landscape, the company continues to innovate.

This past week (December 8, 2019), the company announced its app can now be accessed and used on Alexa.

From The Gaming Post:

At the moment, FanDuel has only made its Pick 6 product available on the Echo. Bettors will be able to tell Alexa to open the bookmaker app and place bets on whatever the current Pick 6 offer is. Pick 6 requires 6 predictions to be made about Sunday and Monday NFL games.

Other companies are likely to follow in FanDuel's footsteps.
