A total of eight teams were present for the 40-minute workout.

SportsBetting.ag had released odds on which team Kaepernick will be playing on to start the regular 2020 season with early odds favoring the Cincinnati Bengals.

Pittsburgh Steelers +400
Baltimore Ravens +600
Buffalo Bills +700
Oakland Raiders +700
Carolina Panthers +800
Houston Texans +1000
Chicago Bears +1200
Tampa Bay Buccaneers +1200
Arizona Cardinals +1500
San Francisco 49ers +1600
Indianapolis Colts +2000
Los Angeles Rams +2000
Cleveland Browns +2500

New England Patriots +5000
Dallas Cowboys +5000

Reps from eight teams were in attendance.  They included the Philadelphia Eagles, Kansas City Chiefs, New York Jets, Washington Redskins, San Francisco 49ers, Detroit Lions, and Tennessee Titans.

A change in venues interupted venue interrupted schedules for many of the 25 teams that were scheduled to watch Kaepernick at the original site, the Atlanta Falcons' facility in Flowery Branch.  Kaepernick’s representatives had issues with the NFL-arranged workout, the media availability and the conditional insurance claims.  The workout instead took place at Charles Drew High School in Riverdale.

Kaepernick, who once quarterbacked the 49ers to the Super Bowl, protested police brutality and social injustice by kneeling during the national anthem and has been out of football since 2016.

"I've been ready for three years,'' Kaepernick said. "I've been denied for three years. We all know why I came out here. [I] showed it today in front of everybody. We have nothing to hide. So we're waiting for the 32 owners, 32 teams, Roger Goodell, all of them stop running. Stop running from the truth. Stop running from the people.

"We're out here. We're ready to play. We're ready to go anywhere. My agent, Jeff Nalley, is ready to talk [to] any team. I'll interview with any team at any time. I've been ready.''
