From Sporting News:

You didn't think Antonio Brown was the only diva wide receiver in the NFL, right? Seemingly out of nowhere, Julio Jones implied after Falcons practice on Thursday that he might not play in Week 1 against the Vikings because of either his ongoing contract negotions and/or a nagging injury. Obviously, this potential "holdout" would have a major effect on fantasy football start 'em, sit 'em decisions, and Jones owners are undoubtedly worried (along with those of Matt Ryan).

The line was back to Minnesota -4 by Friday morning. The Sagarin Ratings suggest a line somewhere between Vikings -3 and -3.5 assuming, but does not take into account whether Jones plays or not.

Jones does anticipate suiting up for Sunday's game.

"I don't know. I mean, like, what I'm trying to do right now is be ready," Jones said when asked if he would "definitely" play. "If I'm gonna play, if I'm not gonna play, I'm trying to be out there regardless. Coming back from injury and things like that. But ultimate thing is just being ready when my number is called."

Rumors were swirling early Friday that Jones and the Falcons were on the cusp of making a deal.

The wagering public still backed Atlanta 60/40 at +4 as of Friday morning.
