No In-State Sportsbooks in Idaho

The US Supreme Court ruled to allow sports betting nationwide but individual states will determine whether they want to operate in-state sportsbooks or not.

It is unclear if Idaho will ever pursue in-state sports betting. Its neighbor Montana has already legalized sports gambling, though there will not be mobile.

There are No Sportsbooks Near Boise

The only access to betting on sports from Boise is with websites that are licensed outside the state of Idaho.

Boise is approximately an hour away from the Oregon border. That state is likely to launch sports betting through a single entity with limited options that should not be competitive with offshore sportsbooks. In other words, there is not much of an incentive to drive to Oregon.
