The company's sportsbook app, currently only available in the state of New Jersey, will be taking bets on five races taking place at the state's Monmouth Park Racetrack.  The marquee race will be the Haskell Invitational.

The odds will be fixed and the only bets are either “to win” a particular race or on individual matchups between two horses in the races.

Monmouth Park may be forced to cancel Saturday's races due to oppressive heat ravaging the Eastern US.  Officials are already being pressured to do so after all other horse races scheduled along the East Coast, including New York's Saratoga, were cancelled or postponed.

Draftkings policy for cancelled or postponed races may be put to the test right out of the gate, so to speak.

The Borgata is the only casino in New Jersey to still offer pari-mutuel wagering in Atlantic City.  This includes betting on trifectas and exotics.
