The game ended 4-4 in the 9th inning as a tie, at which time the game was suspended due to rain.  But St. Louis came back to tie the game in the 9th just before the game got called off.

A lot of folks were left thinking that money line bets would be called as a push, and therefore No Action.  Not the case.

And the Cardinals coming back to tie in the 9th it turns out meant nothing, at least where most books are concerned.

The vast majority of books graded the Mets a winner since the game gets graded based on the last completed inning.  In this case, the last full inning was the 8th and had New York up two runs.

Some books rules vary.  For instance, Heritage Sports rules under this scenario are as follows:

For all moneyline bets, a game is considered official after five innings of play (four and a half if the home team is winning). Thereafter, if a game is canceled or called out, the winner is determined by the score after the last full inning of play. If the home team scores to tie or takes the lead in the bottom half of the inning, the winner is then determined by the score at the time the game is canceled. In case a game is resumed next day, wagers will remain pending and will be graded with the final score.

A few long time Heritage customers noticed that their rules have changed recently, so it is wise to review a sportsbooks rules every so often.
