Brian Zipse from Derby Day Racing and Horse Racing Nation had this to offer regarding Joevia:

“I think he’s probably going to be on the lead early. I just can’t see him sticking around. His breeding and past performance really point to him being nowhere at the finish after being on the lead early. He’ll be a pace setter.”

Tax finished 14th at the Kentucky Derby, though that was in the mud.

He finished 2nd, 1st and 3rd in his three previous races: The Wood Memorial, Withers and Remsen, Respectively.

A lot of eyes will be on Everfast, finishing 2nd at this year's Preakness Stakes and with great value here.

Zipse’s thoughts: “Everfast is another who surprised me. He really ran a good race at the Preakness coming from well back to get second. Can he do it again? It’s possible if he’s moving in the right direction, but I would be surprised if he’s second or better in the Belmont. Like Bourbon War, he’s another one that looks to probably be behind Tacitus early.”
