How Has Maximum Security Run in the Mud?

It's going to be a sloppy track and Maximum Security has shown he can run in the mud and was coming in at 8-1 odds for a payout potential of $80 on every $10 bet

Past Results in the Mud

The Florida Derby winner is four-for-four with one of those wins coming on Jan. 24 in an Optional Claiming race at Gulfstream Park for trainer Jason Servis.  This was run on a wet track.

Heavy Rains Expected

Bands of heavy rain were moving into the Louisville area around 3 pm EST with a starting time of around 3:25 pm.   The rain was likely to be heaviest right around post time.  The track will be sloppy no matter what.
