Code of Honor will pay out $120 for every $10 bet with a 2019 Kentucky Derby win.

Code of Honor finished first at the Fountain of Youth but 3rd at his most recent race, the Florida Derby.

Code of Honor could be in an improvement phase.

He ran four furlongs, 46.80 seconds the Sunday prior to the Kentucky Derby.

“It’s been a matter of me trying to get it right,” Hall of Fame trainer Shug McGaughey. said of Code of Honor.  “The Mucho Macho Man was kind of a funny race. He ran good in the Fountain of Youth and I think he was a victim of circumstances in the Florida Derby. No pace and I think he’s a one-run horse that needs a bit of pace in front of him. I hope we get that in the Derby, which I think we will.”
