Tennessee U vs. Florida Odds

Among the most sought after of the College Football games this week for gamblers:  Tennessee U vs. Florida odds were in very high demand.  Only Florida State vs. Brigham Young was getting more betting action as part of the Saturday slate of games.  The Gators were getting around 75 percent of the action in this one with a line of -29 ½ found at Sports Interaction.

"This is completely insane!" said Gambling911.com's Dan Shapiro.  "I have never seen so much public backing on a line this big."

The Florida Gators have been listed with some of the biggest lines ever seen in any sport, the most hyped of which was against Charleston Southern where they were listed with -63 odds at one point.  Florida failed to cover that line, winning by 59 points.  They did, however, cover the -36 ½ point spread in their next game against Troy, winning by a score of 56-6.

Tennessee U is an entirely different animal though.  While the last two meetings were indeed blowouts (one of which was won by more than the current -29 ½ point spread), the Volunteers lost by only 1 point the previous game and won 2 of the last 6 in this series.

That might not mean much here.   Florida was only a 7 point favorite in 2007 when they crushed Tennessee by nearly 40 points.

People are nuts enough to bet the Gators at -29 ½.  More power to them!

The Gators are 10-1 ATS in their last 11 conference games.

Xavier Worthy = Tyreek Hill 2.0?  Perhaps, and if that comes to fruition at any point in the future, the Bills only have themselves to blame.

J.J. McCarthy Drafted Number 3 Odds to Patriots

To be clear, the Michigan quarterback J.J. McCarthy is pretty certain to land in Minnesota.  But what if the New England Patriots shock us and pick McCarthy at Number 3 before the Vikings get their opportunity at No. 5?
