Ohio State- The second half of the season Ohio State's offense became inconsistent and the team endured health issues as well as a suspension to their best player (center Kaleb Wesson).

The Buckeyes' starting five features two double-digit scorers in big man Kaleb Wesson and guard Jackson.  They likely do not have enough fire power to survive the tournament.

Iowa State- The Cyclones have not fared much better, losing six of their final eight games.

From ESPN.com: "Although the Cyclones staggered down the stretch, they remain a strong offensive team with a variety of ways to beat you. ISU shoots extremely well (36.2%) from beyond the 3-point line and is able to work well close to the basket, too."

The weakness: Poor rebounding. Their defensive rebounding percentage (.702) is ninth in the Big 12.

Predictions

College Football News:

"The Ohio State defense is just good enough to keep this close throughout – don’t expect a high-flying shootout – but it’ll be tough to find the scoring pop when needed. Iowa State is going to have big problems with the tougher teams on the boards, and that’s not the Buckeyes.  It’ll be maddening for OSU – the game will be right there for the taking, and it won’t be able to do it. Iowa State will hit the key shots the Buckeyes won’t."

Iowa State 73, Ohio State 70
Line: Iowa State -5.5, o/u: 140

Action vs. Line Movement
