In a disappointing revelation, Gambling911.com has learned that iMEGA (The Interactive Media Entertainment & Gaming Association) in its legal challenge against the United States and the Unlawful Internet Gaming Enforcement Act has received little funding from any of the sports book community within Costa Rica with one lone exception.

"We are the only one's supporting this initiative," commented the CEO of that sports book, who prefers to donate anonymously. In fact, nearly all members of iMEGA have elected to not have their names publicized.

iMEGA (see website here) has received widespread support throughout Costa Rica, which is home to more online sports betting companies than any other country, however, very little of this has come in the form of financial support.

The trade organization will be bringing on a powerful new partner in the coming weeks. Likewise we have learned that iMEGA and the Remote Gaming Association out of Europe is now in communication with one another and may have found common ground in which to help solve the current online gambling crisis that has effectively forced nearly every publicly traded gaming firm out of the US market while crippling the money processing of others.
