The Colorado Rockies were coming in with 14/1 odds of winning the National League in Major League Baseball for 2019 with news that Nolan Arenado had finalized an 8-year, $260 Mil Contract with that ball club.

The deal would give Arenado the largest per-year salary of any position player.
Arenado, 27, is a four-time All-Star who has won a Gold Glove in all six of his major league seasons. He has led the National League in home runs three times, including 2018, when he hit .297/.374/.561 with 38 home runs and 110 RBIs.
Last year the Rockies finished the season with a 91-72 record.
