In May 2018 the U.S. Supreme Court paved the way for sports betting in all 50 states. Despite the U.S. Supreme Court ruling, individual states like North Carolina are not exactly gambling-friendly. As such, we don't expect the state to begin opening sportsbooks any time soon.
