This is a critical game for the Dallas Cowboys, who will want to maintain the lead in a very tight division that includes the Redskins and Eagles.

The New Orleans Saints are simply looking to avoid the second loss of the season.

As of Tuesday night, the books were holding the line at New Orleans -7.5 after having moved off that number to -7 for a few hours earlier on Monday.  For now anyway, the books do not appear to have any opinion on this game.

Regarding the number one ranked Saints, ESPN.com writes: "It has been evident that the Saints were the top team in the NFC since a Week 9 victory over the Rams. Now it is reflected in the standings, thanks to Thursday's 31-17 victory over the Atlanta Falcons combined with the Rams' upcoming bye. The Saints can clinch home-field advantage in the playoffs by winning out, no matter what the Rams do, by virtue of the head-to-head tiebreaker."
