Betting Preview

The Lakers enter Saturday's game with 14/1 odds of winning the 2019 NBA Championship but a record of just 8-6 (they are 5-9 Against The Spread).

The home team has won the last ten games in this series and you have a situation here where the 7-8 Magic are playing at home as an underdog.

Lakers guard Rajon Rondo underwent surgery Thursday and will be out for four to five weeks.

From ESPN.com:

The loss of Rajon Rondo is significant. He fractured his right third metacarpal. The Lakers lose a vet who was at times their best point guard. He stabilized the second unit with his play and at times was the finishing point guard on the floor. Behind the scenes, Rondo was a valuable leader and constant voice in the ears of the younger Lakers. He'll still be able to do that from the bench but the Lakers could turn to Brandon Ingram to handle backup point guard duties a bit more.
