Both teams are outstanding on defense, especially up front. Both are led by uniquely talented, first-year starting quarterbacks: Heisman Trophy front-runner Tua Tagovailoa and future Heisman candidate Trevor Lawrence. Clemson's wide receiving corps is once again among the nation's deepest and most talented, but so is Alabama's this season. Alabama's running back room is loaded again, but so is Clemson's.
