Mike "The Mouth" Matusow on Thursday night went on the attack against fellow poker pro Erik Seidel after the later joked about Megyn Kelly receiving her entire $69 million contract after being fired by NBC.
Seidel tweeted:
"Wish NBC would fire me"
He was referencing a Daily Mail piece.
"EXCLUSIVE: Megyn Kelly is OUT at NBC just 48 hours after defending blackface and the network will be forced to pay out her entire $69M contract"
And then there was this response by Matusow:
"You got 60m from full tilt as 1 of biggest owners while others took fall and are struggling I'm sure you will live!"
Matusow referred to a 2011 ponzi scheme involving Full Tilt Poker that resulted in players having to wait years to be paid. Most eventually were. The company was forced to exit the US market following a series of high profile indictments that came to be known as "Black Friday" (they were handed down Friday, April 15, 2011).
Matusow, who often gets ripped by his followers, got pats on the back for this one.
One individual tweeted out:
"Mike is right, glad some people still have the balls to call these people out. FT owners are disgrace to the community and we should never forget their sins, they set the game and our community back decades."
