There is value in betting Bravazo should it rain as he has proven reliable in the mud. As of Tuesday, the Churchill Downs forecast called for rain Friday. Should this weather event be postponed, you might want to pull the trigger.

One of the former top 3-year-olds behind Justify is slipping on speed figures, as he earned a 111 on the TimeformUS scale when finishing seventh in the Pennsylvania Derby and 112 when third in the Travers, five lengths behind Catholic Boy.
His highest TimeformUS number came in the Preakness Stakes, when he earned a 126 for barely missing against the eventual Triple Crown champion Justify.
On Beyer, the pattern may look different as they did not rate the Preakness as highly as TimeformUS. Still, it is hard to imagine his numbers not falling there too.
While the horses above mostly received positive comments, the context surrounding this one is pointing in the other direction. In this case, maybe the lowly 111 and 112 figures are a tired Bravazo’s true numbers at this point in the season.
