Will I Be Able to Bet College Football Games From Colorado

While the US Supreme Court has now made sports betting legal in the United States, Colorado residents will not be able to bet the games in any of the state's casinos for the upcoming 2018 College Football season. Do not dispair as a few dozen of internationally licensed sportsbooks will accept wagers on the upcoming NFL and College Football season.

WILL COLORADO WELCOME SPORTS BETTING IN THE NEAR FUTURE?

As progressive a state Colorado has been - think legalized marijuana - they are nowhere near getting the ball rolling when it comes to legalized sports betting.

If it is determined that a decision will come in the form of a voter referendum, two-thirds of legislators must approve a voter referendum.

With nothing appearing in this election cycle, one can surmise there will not be any sportsbooks operating in Colorado casinos at least until the 2020 Football season.

With three designated casinos in the state, this is likely where any sports betting will take place. Opposition is expected in regard to online gambling as there is an appetite to protect the interests of these casinos.
