The line on the Cowboys-Panthers game for Week 1 was Carolina -2.5 at most books Mid-August.
75% of the money is coming in on Carolina here. With few exeptions, the line has stayed at -2.5 throughout the spring and summer months.
The Panthers will have a retooled defense coming into 2018. They also have an exciting rookie cornerback out of LSU in Donte Jackson.
“Besides Luke (Kuechly)? Donte Jackson,” veteran receiver Torrey Smith told the Panthers’ website. “I’ve never seen a player grow more in a single offseason. He’s playing well, playing very confident. He’s been coachable.”
Carolina had 50-1 odds of winning Super Bowl 53. The Cowboys have shorter odds at 30-1.
