1st Jackpot Casino Tunica, formerly Bally's, is a casino in Tunica Resorts, Mississippi. It is owned by Gaming & Leisure Properties and operated by Penn National Gaming. It could soon be offering a sports book.
Mississippi has now legalized sports betting following a landmark US Supreme Court ruling that throws out decades old prohibition.
The casino has 46,535 square feet (4,323.2 m2) of gaming space, with 899 slot machines and 16 table games, so plenty of sports for a sports book indeed.
1st Jackpot Casino has yet to disclose its plans. Nearby Gold Strike is the only casino to do so as of July 20.
It should be noted that Mississippi has no intention of offering online sports betting outside the individual casino properties for the forseeable future. Internationally licensed websites do offer sports betting including LIVE IN-PLAY wagering.
