Traditionally Masters Golf Tournaments have received substantial betting interest the week prior to the event.  That wasn't happening this year for reasons that can't quite be explained, but the days leading up to the 2009 PGA Championship have been a different story with a late betting surge.

"There has definitely been a last minute increase in the 2009 PGA Championship betting," said Gambling911.com Senior Editor, Payton O'Brien.  "Our coverage of the PGA Championship betting ranked a strong second on Tuesday after only the Daniel Negreanu story from Thomas Somach claiming a possible ‘racial' rant."

Tiger Woods would pay out $160 for every $100 bet at SBG Global if he were to win.

Big underdogs have paid out handsomely with recent Masters tournaments.
