Justify Becomes Only the 13th Horse to Win Triple Crown

An even odds favorite at some books, Justify has won the 2018 Belmont Stakes and the Triple Crown, becoming the 13th horse to do so in over a century and making trainer Bob Baffert the first trainer ever to have won two Triple Crowns.  SCROLL DOWN FOR MORE

Gronkowski came in 2nd and was one of the long shots, Hofburg came in 3rd.

Baffert won the Triple Crown with American Pharoah three years.  There had not been a Triple Brown winner in nearly 40 years prior to that victory.

The track was baked dry by sunny skies and 80-degree weather. Kentucky Derby and Preakness winner Justify won the first two legs on sloppy tracks.
