The St. Louis Cardinals were among the top bets on Saturday playing in Cincinnati.  Both teams were at -105 despite St. Louis going 13-3 in Michael Wacha’s last 16 starts vs. Cincinnati.

PITCHING MATCHUP: Cardinals RH Michael Wacha (7-1, 2.41 ERA) vs. Reds RH Luis Castillo (4-6, 5.64)

Wacha allowed a leadoff hit in the ninth inning against the Pirates before departing with a season-high 111 pitches, striking out eight and walking two. The dominant outing left him 5-0 with a 1.60 ERA over a span of nine starts.

Castillo lasted six innings just once in his last four starts and was knocked out after 4 2/3 at San Diego on Sunday.

He is 0-2 with a 4.76 ERA in two career meetings against the Cardinals.
