Odds to win The Players Championship 2018 have been posted and available for betting.

Favorites promised payouts of $140 and up on a $10 bet with Rory McIlroy, Jordan Spieth and Justin Thomas listed at 14/1.

McIlroy settled for 16th place in this past weekend's Wells Fargo Championship.

"I felt like my game improved as the week went on. I saw some decent signs [on Saturday]," McIlroy told Sky Sports after his final round.

"I actually hit the ball much better today - the score doesn't quite suggest that. I have still got a couple of things to work on going into next week.

"The game definitely felt like it got better heading into the weekend. Hopefully I can build upon that next week."

Today’s Golfer suggests that there are four players that could replace Dustin Johnson at the top of the World Rankings this week, but it looks pretty likely that Justin Thomas is set to gain the best in the world status following the Players Championship.
