Lone Sailor Odds to Win the 2018 Kentucky Derby - 66 to 1 Overnight

Lone Sailor odds to win the 2018 Kentucky Derby were at 66-1.  Odds were previously at 50-1.

POST POSITION POSSIBILITIES

Eight winners from this spot.  It's a good one.

THE GOOD

Lone Sailor is starting from one of the better post positions.

He’s coming off the best race of his career, finishing just a neck behind Noble Indy in the Louisiana Derby and posting a solid Beyer Speed Figure of 95.

These odds keep getting longer.  We suggest a small play here at one of your favorite online sportsbooks since the payout is $660 on a $10 bet.

James Graham will be riding Lone Sailor.

“Make no mistake about it, I know when he goes into that starting gate, he’s going to be as nervous as a cat, but I know James’ instincts are going to take over once that gate opens, and all that is going to go away,” said  Tom Amoss, who trains Lone Sailor,. “He’s a pro, and when the gate opens, I know he’s going to be just fine.”

THE BAD

Since breaking his maiden last September, he hasn’t won a race in six tries.
