Major League Baseball Top Exposures May 2: Brewers

The Milwaukee Brewers were seeing early lopsided action Wednesday against the Cincinnati Reds, and with good reason.  Cincinnati has just 7 wins on the season.

At +110, Milwaukee should certainly prove enticing.  Of course, this one has "sucker" written all over it.

Brewers LH Wade Miley (2017: 8-15, 5.61 ERA) signed a minor-league deal with Milwaukee after finishing with a career-worst 15 defeats in 2017, including losses in all five starts in September.  He is 3-2 with a 3.68 ERA against the Reds.

The Reds RH Luis Castillo (1-3, 7.85) has thus far endured a rough season.

The Brewers are 10-4 in their last 14 overall.

The Reds are 2-12 in their last 14 home games vs. a left-handed starter.

Yes it would be tempting to take the Brewers here as the betting public is eating up this line, but I would say to exercise some degree of caution.  We'll be sitting on the sidelines for this one.
