The grandson of the late notorious mobster John Gotti is set to make his debut as a Mixed Martial Arts fighter in New York State.

John Gotti III will take on Eddie Haws (0-1) in a welterweight bout in Westbury, N.Y. — on Long Island 18 miles east of Manhattan — at a Classic Entertainment & Sports (CES) show on May 4.

Some online sportsbooks do offer betting on CES fights.  It's not know how many, if any, will offer odds on this particular fight however.  It will certainly get some high profile attention.

“With the incredible amount of pro talent in the New York region, opening a division there is a logical step in our East Coast expansion,” CES MMA CEO Jimmy Burchfield Jr. said in a release. “John Gotti III made his pro debut in Rhode Island back in October. Now it’s time for him to go to work at home.”
