Kjeld Nuis is the favorite to win the Olympic Speed Skating Men’s 1000m Friday.

Nuis is a Dutch speed skater. He is the 2018 Olympic champion over 1500 m, and the 2017 world champion in the 1000 and 1500 meter events, and the current holder of the Dutch 1000 m record. He lives in Emmen.

Lorentzen is a Norwegian speed skater specialising in the 500, 1000 and 1500 m distances.
