With Philadlephia beating Minnesota 38-7 in the 4th quarter and under 10 minutes left, online bookmakers had released a line on the Eagles-Patriots Super Bowl 52 with New England coming in at -5.5.

The over/under is set at 47.5.

The Eagles odds had been made much longer after the injury of quarterback Carson Wentz but Nick Foles has filled in nicely since that time.

The New England Patriots opened the season as favorites and were an EVEN odds favorite entering the AFC Championship game, though theirs was more of a challenge to win as Jacksonville still managed to cover the -7.5 line after leading throughout much of the game and losing by just four points in the end.

Fantasy Rankings Are Now Part of NFL Betting

NFL betting used to be built mostly around teams. Bettors looked at spreads, totals, moneylines, injuries, weather and coaching matchups. Those pieces are still there, but the modern football betting board is much more player-driven than it used to be.
