Carson Wentz – Severity of Leg Injury Not Yet Known: Futures Bettors Brace for the Worst

“All support staff walked out just shaking their heads,” Erin Andrews reported from the sidelines after Eagles starting quarterback Carson Wentz left the field having been tangled up during a play.

By late Sunday, word had surfaced that the Eagles are concerned Wentz tore his left ACL, sources tell ESPN's Adam Schefter.

Wentz has been nothing short of phenomenal this season with Philadelphia among the favorites to win Super Bowl 52.

The Eagles and Rams were trading scores in one of the most anticipated matchups of Week 14.

Wentz walked off the field on his own by was ruled out for the remainder of the game.

The Eagles did hold a three-game lead over Dallas in the NFC East with only three games remaining and the Cowboys dominating the New York Giants late in their respective game.
