Broadway Gaming £100k Bonus Offer Leads to Fine

The UK Gambling Commission (UKGC) has issued a £100,000 fine following what it deemed to be a “misleading bonus offer”.

The company is accused of failing to disclose restrictions on a £100k bonus offer.  More specifically, the company failed to provide the significant terms related to wagering requirements.

From CasinoGamesPro.com:

As explained by the UK gambling watchdog, the company has accepted its adverts breached the social responsibility codes of the UKGC, according to which such commercials are required to be in line with the UK Code of Non-broadcast Advertising and Direct & Promotional Marketing. Under the rules of the CAP Code, certain limitations and qualifications need to apply to the adverts.

Broadway Gaming it appears is a repeat offender. Last year, its Butlers Bingo also was cited for failing to clearly state excessive wagering requirements.
