Resident bookmaking expert Tony Caliente discusses Saturday night’s game between Notre Dame and Stanford.

The Irish are suddenly stumbling after a strong start to the season, now having dropped two games.  They opened at -1.5 and are now a -2.5 visiting favorite.

Notre Dame sits at number 10 in the College Football Power Ratings and should be a -3 point favorite so this line is just a half point off with the Irish likely to cover.

Books like Pinnacle have encouraged action on the underdog Stanford without crossing the dreaded 3.

Stanford though has won the last two in this series and is no slouch here, ranking among the top 25 teams.  They are 3-2 with the losses by three points in one game and in OT in the other.
