Number 9-ranked Washington takes on a 6-3 Stanford team as a -6 road favorite after initially coming in at -8.

Washington is not just 8-1 Straight Up, they are also an impressive 6-3 Against The Spread.

Stanford has won four of the last six games in this series.

Stanford star running back Bryce Love has broken at least one 50-yard run in each game he has played this year and may end up giving Washington’s otherwise stellar top-ranked defense fits.

The junior has rushed for 1,456 yards -- second nationally behind San Diego State's Rashaad Penny (1,602) -- and has recorded 11 runs of 50 or more yards this season.

Washington (8-1, 5-1 Pac-12) holds a half-game lead over Washington State and Stanford (6-3, 5-2) in the Pac-12 North race. But the Huskies also can't afford a second loss per their College Football Playoff aspirations, ESPN.com points out.

"It's the best team in the conference coming to our house, so we don't have time to wallow, to lament about what happened last Saturday," Stanford coach David Shaw said. "We've got to get ready to go."

The Cardinal allow an average of 21.3 points per game.

The Huskies were seeing 85% of the betting action as of Friday morning.
