The New York Jets have some inactives expected but these may be offset by returning players. New England was a -9.5 or -9 point favorite on the road depending on the book.
ESPN.com was reporting the following Saturday night:
Predicting the Jets' inactives for tomorrow: RB Bilal Powell, DE Mo Wilkerson, QB Christian Hackenberg, TE Jordan Leggett, LB Obum Gwacham, CB Derrick Jones and CB Xavier Coleman. Powell and Wilkerson are supposed to be game-time decisions, but I'm leaning toward inactive because neither one practiced this week. A handful of injured players are returning, making it one of the tougher weeks to forecast.
The Pats have dominated 8-2 in the series over the last ten games, losing both times in OT. Aside from a meaningless final week game last season, the previous seven games were decided within five points.
